Back through the landing you approach the principal sleeping accommodation.  From a small hall way you enter the Master bedroom. 

This is a stunning bedroom with a Superking bed with a very comfortable mattress.  There is a roof light above the bed for a romantic evening of star gazing.  The bedroom has air conditioning for the hot sultry Summer nights.  There is an en-suite bathroom with a lovely deep bath and a separate built in shower and heated towel rail.

Across the hall is a door leading to a spacious double bedroom with a luxurious Superking bed. 

This wonderful airy bedroom has lovely exposed beams and a large free standing French armoire. 

This bedroom also has air conditioning for the hot Summer nights.  The bedroom has an en-suite shower room with a heated towel rail.

From the opened planned living space in the hall there is wooden staircase taking you up to the landing with a lovely open view of the landscape through the glazed barn doors.

From this hallway you are led onto the mezzanine above the open planned living space.  This is a fantastic space to be enjoyed by all the family. There is a comfortable sofa placed in front of a large flat screen TV with a dvd player. There is also wifi internet access through out the house.

Castaing is a no smoking house and no pets are allowed. 

All linen is provided including bathroom towels and swimming towels. The house is cleaned on changeover days. If a change of sheets and extra cleaning is required this can be arranged at an extra cost.

Castaing is a wonderful house set in the Lot-et-Garonne and close to the Gironde and Dordogne borders.  Castaing commands spectacular views across a sweeping landscape.  It has been renovated with an abundance of style, sophistication and comfort making it a fantastic holiday home.

You approach Castaing through a woodland of established trees leading to the rear of the house where there is ample parking.  The house is entered by the South facing terrace and garden.

The large heated swimming pool is 11m by 6m and 1.7m deep across the entire pool.  It has large built in corner steps for easy access which provide a nice space to sit and keep cool half submerged on a hot day. There are wonderful views across the valley from the pool.

The pool is heated through out the season and has an automated hard cover. The pool is run on a salt system which is kinder on your eyes and skin.

There are 10 sun-loungers around the pool with some sun umbrellas.

Beside the pool is an open planned barn originally used for the prune oven and drying tobacco.   This has recently been transformed into a stunning out door living space.

It has been kitted out with everything you will need to while away the days.  There is a lounge area, dining room table and a kitchenette.  There is also a shower unit with a sink and toilet. There is a secret snug area along with a play zone of ping pong and table foot.

There is wifi connection within the outdoor barn.

When entering the property you are welcomed by an elegant squared hallway which ahead leads you in to the breathtaking double height living space.

The open planned living space is an amazing light room with an impressive stone fireplace incasing a very effective wood burning stove for the cooler seasons.  In fact the whole house is fully heated which makes it ideal for winter lets.  There are three very large sofas surrounding the fireplace making a comfortable environment to retire to.

On the other side of the living space there is an impressive large dining room table which seats 10 very comfortably.

From the dining area is a lovely modern kitchen.  The kitchen is equipped with a large family size fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave, large electric oven with a 5 ring gas hob. 

Through an old wooden barn door off the living space there is an additional living room with a wood burning stove and a smart TV so you can connect to your Netflix or Amazon account. There are also French freeview channels.  This is an elegant room to be enjoyed, where you can also find some peace and quiet from the rest of the household.  This room has a door leading onto the garden.

There is a downstairs toilet with a large shower which is off the Utility area with a washing machine, ironing board and a second fridge/freezer. 

On the opposite side of the entrance hall there is a door leading towards the downstairs sleeping accommodation.

The first bedroom is a lovely double room with a king size bed and an en-suite shower room.  The room is beautifully decorated with a charming traditional door leading on to the South facing terrace and garden.

The second room is an enchanting twin bedroom also with a door leading to the garden.

The third room is another charming twin bedroom with views facing the North.

Both twin rooms are served by a family bathroom and a separate toilet.

Castaing

There is a lovely viewing area of the pool where you can watch the kids in the shade or just relax from a far and you won't miss out on the action.

The lounge area is always in the shade and the sofas are comfortable.

There is a shower, sink and a toilet to refresh yourself after a swim.

There is also a darts board for practicing your shots.

This outdoor space has just been renovated with attention to relaxation, fun and comfort.

There is a small kitchenette with a built in plancha large fridge/ freezer and a sink. Once the meal prep has been done in the kitchen you can bring all your preparations for the bbq / plancha chef to bring it all together.

There is a dining room table with 10 chairs.

There is also a further terrace through the double doors for watching the sunsets and a further bbq.

The games area is full of fun and relaxation too.

There is a great retro table foot which is so nostalgic and essential when hanging out in France.

For the more competitive types there is a table tennis table.  Which generation will come out on top in the family tournament?

The prune oven has been converted into an inviting snug where you could play card games or a place for secret conversations and time out.
